University of Texas--Changes to Admission

Parents and students:
The University of Texas has determined that it will automatically admit all eligible summer/fall 2020 and spring 2021 freshman applicants who rank within the top 6% of their high school graduating classes, with remaining spaces to be filled through holistic review.

Previously, the University considered automatic admission for those in the top 8% of their class.
