Lone Bull Scholarship

-Lone Bull Scholarship- We are SUPER excited to be awarding a Senior Scholarship this year!! 🎓 Qualifications: •High School Senior located in the Big Country •Plans to continue on to the next level of education (College, Trade School, Certification Classes, etc.) How to enter: -Write a 1-2 page essay explaining a challenge or difficult time you have faced and how you overcame/are overcoming the challenge. -include the following information separate from the essay: Name, School you are currently attending, College or Trade School you will attend this coming fall, a brief 5 year “plan” for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 Email this information to Deadline to submit is midnight May 12, 2023. If you are picked for the Lone Bull Scholarship you will have to provide a copy of enrollment verification to your higher education whether it be college, trade school, or continued education/certifications. Tomorrow Ready Texas

 Tomorrow Ready Texas is a tool to help parents and guardians support their teens with college and career planning. The tool provides families with the resources they need to support their child's success after high school- in college, a career, or military service.

Tomorrow Ready Texas includes step-by-step action plans for families with teens in 8th through 12th grade. Families can customize these plans to match their child's specific interests and goals, and sty on track with deadlines, milestones, and career goals. The free resource also includes specific information for families of students with disabilities. Please visit the attached website to sign up and learn more.


Gandy Ink offers 10 - $1000 Scholarships annually. Applications are open March 1st – April 15th. Candidates must be high school seniors planning to attend a college or university during the immediate fall semester. Winners will be announced by May 1st! Click HERE to apply

 United Ag & Turf is looking for individuals to sponsor for the John Deer Student Technician Program. John Deere Technician Students will receive a 2-Year Associate's Degree including general education courses and John Deere exclusive classroom training courses.  The Abilene Teachers Federal Credit Union will be awarding ten $1,500 scholarships to teen credit union members meeting the following criteria:

The applicant has an account in  his/her own name at Abilene Teachers FCU
Applicant is in good standing an an ATFCU member of record as of Nov. 14, 2022
Applicant is planning to be a full-time student during the Fall 2023 semester at an accredited college, university, or technical college in the United States.
Applicant is graduating from high school in Spring 2023
Applicant is not related to an Abilene Teachers FCU employee, Board Member or Supervisory Committee Member.

Taylor Telecom Scholarship Program

The Scholarship Program will provide 20 scholarships for the 2022-23 school year in the amount of $5000 each. Eligibility: 1.Any senior student, whose parent or legal guardian has active service with Taylor Telecom and lives within the service area 2. GPA of at least an 85 If you are interested in applying for this scholarship you can pick up an application in the High School Office. You will need to mail your application to the Scholarship Committe. The due date is April 3, 2023.

Central Texas Farm Credit Scholarship

Central Texas Farm Credit will award five high school graduating seniors a one-time $2,000 scholarship in 2023. The FFA chapter or 4-H organization of each 2023 scholarship winner's choice will receive a $500 donation. Eligibility requirements include: Applicant must be a high school senior scheduled to graduate in 2023. Applicant must be a member of 4-H or FFA. Applicant must be planning to attend a two-year, four-year, or trade school. Applicant must reside inside of Central Texas Farm Credit's 19 county territory. Central Texas Farm Credit reserves the right to confirm eligibility requirements. Recipients will be selected based on academic performance (GPA, ACT/SAT score), awards, community service, school involvement, extracurricular activities, essay objectives, and grammar. Angelo State Ram Preview Day


Ram Preview day is Saturday November 12th.

This event is great for families who can’t make it to campus during the week. Students will:

  • Take a campus tour, see the residence halls, and eat lunch at The Caf.
  • Visit with professors and staff at our academic and student services fair.
  • Learn about all of the ways to get involved on-campus including student organizations, intramural sports, and more.
