Robert and Jean Ann LeGrand Scholarship for 2016-2017

Dr. Robert and Jean Ann LeGrand established the LeGrand Scholarship at Angelo State University to help escort deserving students of area high schools into higher education.  Students nominated and selected may be eligible to receive $1,000 for their first academic year from this scholarship fund.

Ms. Conner must nominate students for this scholarship.  If you are attending, Angelo State University and qualify for this scholarship, please see me!


Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be admitted to Angelo State University as a full-time freshman student and meet regular admission requirements.

  • Must be a graduate of an area school or have resided in a city of the area school while being home schooled.

  • Must have graduated in the top 50% of graduating class.

  • Must have a strong desire to succeed.

  • Must have completed the 2016-2017 Angelo State University General Scholarship application by the priority deadline of March 15, 2016.

    I think they can as long as they have been accepted by Angelo State. I actually have to nominate them for the scholarship. There is not an application for it.
