Texas Lyceum Leadership Scholarship

The Texas Lyceum Leadership Scholarship is intended to promote education and leadership within the great State of Texas. Eligible candidates are graduating high school seniors planning on attending any accredited Texas College or University. Any student meeting the eligibility requirements may apply for a Texas Lyceum Leadership Scholarship. The Texas Lyceum is offering seven (7) $5,000 scholarships for the 2015-2016 freshman year to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of The Texas Lyceum. The scholarship will be paid directly to the college or university. The scholarship will be paid prior to the freshman year once the student has presented proof of acceptance.

The following is the list of eligibility criteria for application consideration:

• Texas Resident and U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident

• Exhibited leadership in school and community activities

• Enrollment in any accredited Texas College or University for the 2015-2016 school year

• Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale)

• Scholarships are limited to students who are graduating from high school in the year in which the scholarship is awarded.

• Eligible high school seniors are encouraged to apply for a Texas Lyceum Leadership Scholarship. There are no restrictions on full or part time student status or course of study. All prospective candidates must submit a completed application prior to the deadline date (incomplete applications will not be considered).
