Explore UT Information

Explore UT Bus Registration Begins (CHS will NOT be taking a bus but would like to encourage you to take your own vehicle and explore UT)

Bus registration for Explore UT is now open, but note the new URL – it’s different than previous years,https://exploreut.utexas.edu

You can go directly to the bus registration form at https://exploreut.utexas.edu/node/add/bus-coordinator

Registering your buses for Explore UT on Saturday, March 7, 2015, helps the University of Texas at Austin plan parking and welcoming activities. We will continue accepting registrations through the end of February.

Be among the first 100 buses to register, and the University will provide a $25 incentive to help defray your bus expenses. (We’ll provide instructions for requesting the incentive after you have attended the event.) Beyond that incentive, the University does not offer scholarships or grants for this field trip. Remember that you’re responsible for arranging a bus and paying the transportation costs charged by your school district or transportation company.

Explore UT is free and open to everyone. There is no registration of individuals in activities. You just come and go to the activities of your choice.

Make Plans for Lunch

You can also buy lunch tickets, if you choose, for dining at Jester Center Second Floor or Kinsolving Residence Hall. Click on Group Lunch or go directly to

https://exploreut.utexas.edu/group-lunch

The Explore UT lunch price is $5.75 a person. Ticket selling will end when capacity is reached or on Feb. 25.

Of course, you may bring sack lunches or buy food from campus vendors, if you like.

Coming by Car?

If you bring students in a car, you will find your own parking in a University garage or other location.

Families and teachers are welcome to come on their own independently of a school.
