Megan Gilbreath believed nurses possess the qualities of compassion and healing and aspired to one day help to heal those who are sick, not just physically, but spiritually. She believed in the power of others to make changes in the lives of those around them. Two scholarships will awarded to a graduating senior of Clyde High School for 2012.
The Megan Gilbreath Aspiring Nurse Memorial Scholarship will be given to a student who:
Is a graduating senior form Clyde High School
Has an overall GPA of a 3.0
Has the intent of completing a nursing or other health professional program at the college or university level
Student must :
Complete the application
Write a one page letter that expresses his/her desire to be a nurse or health professional, and how being a nurse or health professional exemplifies the qualities of compassion and healing.
Provide two letters of recommendation
Copy of HS transcript
