CTAT believes that educating young people in career and technical education results in high student achievement and aids in advancing students to postsecondary education and a globally competitive workforce.
One of the goals of the scholarship program is to provide assistance to outstanding CTE students who plan to continue their education. In doing so, CTAT offers 10 scholarships named in honor of Myra Hasty & Dr. Pat McLeod in the amount of $1,000 each.
Scholarship applications are received at the CTAT office and held unopened until judges convene. All properly completed applications will be scored by each judge. Scholarship awards will be limited to no more than one per school district as judged by the state committee based on a scoring rubric for each section.
