College Tip of the Week - Week #1

READ!

One of the strongest habits a person can develop in pursuit of a higher education is a reading habit. Successful people not only read continuously, they read to stretch, challenge and improve themselves. They read books, magazines and newspapers to stay informed on the latest information.  Reading is a good way to develop interests, expand knowledge, and improve vocabulary.  The school library and the local public library are good sources of books, magazines and newspapers. It doesn't matter how good a reader you are, what matters is that you read. The more your read and the longer you read the better you will get at reading.
